Cathy has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2020. Cathy is responsible to provide leadership, coordinate board meetings, provide support to the committees, for the Facebook page and website, is the chair of the Conservation Action committee, and is a member of the Activities, Member Services, and Peregrine Falcon nest box committees. She is a member of the Executive. Cathy’s favorite tree is the Eastern Hemlock.

My name is Marbeth Wilson.  I’ve been a member of Nature Moncton since 2024.  I’ve been an avid birder for 10 years and love nature and nature photography. Being recently retired from teaching, I want to put more energy into the promotion and enjoyment of nature through Nature Moncton. My favorite bird would be the elusive Snowy Owl.

Susan has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2014. Susan is a real people person and is responsible for taking minutes at all Board and Executive meetings. She is a member of the Executive, the Facebook committee, and the Peregrine Falcon nest box committee. Susan’s favorite bird is the Northern Cardinal.

David has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2007. David is reasonably good at math and has been Treasurer for the past ten years. David’s favorite animal is the Flying Fish. He likes cats and trees too. And golf, as well as duplicate bridge. David is renowned for his ‘documentary’ nature photos!

Fred R has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2014. He is a member of the Board of Directors, builds nesting boxes, prints Nature Moncton Greeting cards and provides support to committees.  He is a member of the Executive. Fred R’s favorite animal is a cat.

Jessica has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2022. She loves volunteering in her community and sharing her love of birds and nature! Jessica is part of the Activities and Hospitality committees. You will always find her greeting you with a smile when you come to the Nature Moncton monthly meetings! Her favorite bird is the beautiful Barrow’s goldeneye.

Cynthia has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2022. She is the chair of the Activities committee. Cynthia’s favorite bird is the song sparrow.  She is also interested in lichens, spiders, and backyard medicines. 

Louise has been a member of Nature Moncton since 2011. Louise is the Presentations committee chair and proofreader of the Nature News Blog. Louise’s favorite birds are the Hermit Thrush (for its beautiful song) and the Nelson’s Sparrow (for its not-so-beautiful song).

Nelson has been a member of Nature Moncton for 50 years, is a veterinarian by trade, and a naturalist by nature. Nelson loves to be involved in all aspects of Nature Moncton and is responsible for the daily posts on the Nature News Blog. He is a member of the Peregrine Falcon nest box committee, and the Presentations Committee. Nelson’s favorite animal/bird/plant/flower/tree/lichen is whatever flies, walks, crawls, or grows in Mother Nature’s world.
